WEDDINGS and CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS

Set in the heart of the Garden of England, St Augustine’s Priory is one of the most beautiful locations in Kent.

Steeped in history, the medieval priory built in 1253 by Sir John Mansell (Lord Chief Justice to Henry 111) for the Canons Regular of the Order of  St. Augustine’s, known as the Black Canons, dissolved by Henry VII  during the reformation, has the most wonderful atmosphere. You could not ask for a more romantic place to hold your Wedding Ceremony.

With seven acres of beautiful gardens, your photographer will be spoilt for choice, with stunning views in every direction. There is also a gazebo for those that wish to hold their ceremony outside.

St Augustine’s Priory has been home to the same family for the last three generations, which makes this a very special venue. Your Wedding is the only one on that particular day, and you have exclusive use of the grounds for yourselves and your guests.  Imagine a beautiful hot summers day, all your guests being served Champagne and Canapé’s on the lawn, some playing croquet, music playing in the background and all set in the most idyllic exclusive Private Country Estate!

Every single detail is looked after by our very dedicated team of professionals, with our in-house caterer Robert  Emson, the quality and standard of food for your special day is perfection, they can supply whatever you wish for and more.

Our experienced team will guide you through every detail leading up to your Wedding and will be on hand all the way through from beginning to end to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day itself.

Stunning Location, Stylish Venue, Incredible Atmosphere
Exclusively yours for the day

Rich in history and atmosphere this 13th Century Priory provides the perfect backdrop for your very special day.

Don't just take our word for it though! These are the thoughts of a couple who married here recently!...

Magical!
There is nothing like being at the Priory in person. The pictures, as lovely as they are, just do not capture the magic of the Priory. It truly is the most amazing place. We recently had our wedding here in April, the sun was shining, the flowers had bloomed and the lambs were grazing. It was so great to be able to hold ceremony, wedding breakfast and party all at the same venue. Gerry and Robert were incredibly lovely and helpful, Jonathans food was to die for and Victorias flowers were just so perfect. She made sure to include everything that we wanted and leave out anything that we didn’t. Our guests were so happy and the feedback on the priory and the wedding has been of ‘best wedding we have ever been to’ which just blew us away. We even had the resident cat amongst us. We are so grateful to the Priory and everyone involved for the memories of such a perfect English countryside wedding day. It couldn’t have been any more magical. Highly recommended!
